On the 12th of June in 2006, we JAKLIN held a fashion show of MADAM CHIZUKO collection 2006-2007 at the New York Public Library.
The first our fashion show was adopted calligraphy, and the second was adopted flower arrangement.
And the third our show, this time, was taken music in with members of Camerata Transylvania, which is a Romanian orchestra mainly playing classical music. 300 more people, who visited the Library, enjoyed the show and also the orchestra performance.
In the collection, we introduced guests to 30 styles of clothes made of knit. It started with everyday clothes woven pretty patterns of musical instruments or musical notes.
And then, it consisted of ethnic clothes with hair ornaments in the world at the last stage. Everyone, who had seen it, must have felt that it seems like they are traveling over the Middle and Near East, East Europe, China, and Japan.

A theme of this collection is ‘Joy of Harmony’.
We are interested in joy of music and in peace of people’s mind. So, the collection consists of three types of clothes according to our interest.
As one of three types, there are clothes with patterns of musical things such as instruments. As the second type, there are relaxed wear with rose patterns of MADAM CHIZUKO’s motif. As the last type, there are brilliant knit-dresses adapted traditional clothes in the world.
We hope people putting on these clothes will have mutual understanding and help each other, even if they are different race or have different culture.
