October 15th 2004, there was a knit fashion show held presenting JAKLIN's new brand MADAM CHIZUKO by designer Chizuko Jaklin in Mandarin Oriental Hotel ball room, New York.
In the ball room, 80 guests invited from all quaters beheld to see the show.
The show started after the press conference and Japanese opening ceremony.
Starting out with peacock motif silk dress, cashmere and silk dresses of Japanese fan, Nature god, phoenix and flower danced through the hall.
In the knit collection, collaboration work with calligrapher Syujyou Wakabayashi was also introduced. The calligraphy "Enjoy" and "Flying dragon" was woven in the knit HAORI and poncho dress.
Toward the end, knit with Japanese traditional design was presented; designs such as family crest patterns, kimono patterns, JINBA styles, and KABUKI styles.
The show ended in a pleasant mood. |
