In October 1997, she established a new company J-com with Hideki Wakabayashi.
On the same year, she set up the brand Pinetina and takes up her post as chief designer.
In the past, She has taken part in setting up many brands and her actual achivements are highly regarded.
She spends busy time attending trend exhibition in Europe and visiting the J-com group's knit factory in China for guidance.
Pinetina is a brand she designs for her in her perticular and own taste.
Her fans are attracted to her smart and peachy but not showy designs.

Chizuko interacts with a young artist Blair Thomson.
The knit he wear was a gift from Chizuko.
She wove Blair's artwork into the knit by intersia.
For it was the first meet up in a long while, they talked up a storm about their next collaboration.
She send hearty cheers to Blair working hard to hold a one-man exhibition at Japan.
Inspired by young creator, she seeks to challenge in new things.

Though she have many chances to contact with a different culture, she tries not to be affected but to understand it in her way, and lead it to her new creation.
She keeps to be aware of herself as a Japanese, and searches for any ways to express it.
During that time, Chizuko successed a collaboration with calligrapher Syujyou Wakabayashi.
In a way, it was truely a hard struggle for her.
